You just wrapped up a great trip, but as you’re halfway home, it hits you: You forgot to log out of your streaming accounts at the Airbnb.
It’s more common than you think—and fortunately, easy to fix.
Here’s how to log out of Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Max, Prime Video, and others remotely, plus a few smart tips for next time.

Change Your Passwords (Optional but Safe)
If you’re worried someone might still have access, update your passwords. This also forces a log-out from most services.
Be sure to:
- Use a unique password for each streaming service
- Turn on two-factor authentication (2FA) if available
Pro Tip: Use a Guest Profile
Before your next trip:
- Create a “Guest” profile on your streaming services
- Use that profile while traveling, so you don’t clutter your own watch history
- Delete it when you get home
Bonus: You’ll be less likely to forget you were ever logged in.
Bottom Line
Leaving your accounts logged in at an Airbnb or hotel is a common mistake—but easy to fix. A few clicks from your phone or laptop can log you out and secure your info.
