Still Logged In After Vacation? How to Sign Out of Netflix and Other Streaming Services Remotely

Written by Catalyit Staff Writer | March 1, 2026

You just wrapped up a great trip. Halfway home, it hits you.

You forgot to log out of your streaming accounts at the Airbnb.

It happens all the time. The good news is it’s quick and easy to fix from your phone or laptop.

How to Log Out of Streaming Services Remotely

Most streaming platforms let you see where you’re logged in and remove devices in seconds.

Netflix

Go to Account > Manage Access and Devices

  • Log out of specific devices

or

  • Select Sign Out of All Devices

Hulu

Go to Account > Manage Devices

  • Remove any unfamiliar or unwanted devices

Disney+

Go to Account > Device Management

  • Select Remove All Devices

or

  • Log out of individual devices

HBO Max

Go to Settings > Manage Devices

  • Choose Sign All Devices Out

or

  • Remove individual devices

Amazon Prime Video

Go to Account > Content and Devices > Devices

  • Select the device and choose Deregister

Should You Change Your Password?

If you are unsure who might still have access, updating your password is a smart move.

This will also log your account out of most devices.

Best practices:

  • Use a unique password for each service

  • Turn on two-factor authentication (2FA) when available

Pro Tip: Use a Guest Profile When Traveling

Before your next trip:

  • Create a “Guest” profile on your streaming services

  • Use that profile while traveling

  • Delete it when you get home

This keeps your watch history clean and reduces the chance you forget to log out.

Bottom Line

Forgetting to log out of streaming services at an Airbnb or hotel is common.

Fixing it takes just a few clicks.

Take a minute to log out remotely and keep your accounts secure.
