How InsuredMine Helps Independent Agents & Brokers
InsuredMine turns your data into action. Every call, email, text, task, and activity is automatically captured against the client record, giving producers complete context and agency leaders real-time visibility into pipeline, workload, and execution. With two-way AMS sync, agencies improve consistency and accountability without changing the way they already work. AI surfaces growth opportunities, prioritizes the next best actions for every producer, automates routine engagement and servicing, and keeps work moving without adding headcount.
The result: less manual work, fewer missed opportunities, more productive producers, and profitable growth from the book they already own.

Catalyit Team Review
Helping agencies turn AMS data into consistent sales, retention, and client action
Updated: August 2026
What we like:
- Complements rather than tries to replace the AMS: InsuredMine is built around the sales, relationship, and engagement work that often doesn't fit naturally inside the agency's system of record.
- Connects pipeline management with client data: Producers can manage prospects, opportunities, renewals, tasks, and follow-up while maintaining visibility into the client and policy information coming from the AMS.
- Automation can create consistency around follow-up: Agencies can trigger emails, texts, tasks, forms, and other actions based on pipeline stages and events such as renewals, cross-sell opportunities, lost business, and client milestones.
- Two-way AMS connectivity is increasingly important: InsuredMine supports synchronization with several commonly used agency management systems, reducing the risk that CRM activity becomes disconnected from the agency's core client records.
- The newer AI capabilities focus on turning information into action: Book IQ, Priority Cards, AI Voice, and external AI connectors are designed to help employees identify opportunities and determine what should happen next rather than simply generating content.
Things to consider:
- A CRM requires operating discipline. Pipelines, tasks, stages, ownership, and automation only create value when producers and service employees consistently use the process.
- Integration depth varies by system and workflow. Agencies should test exactly what moves between their AMS and InsuredMine, in which direction, and how quickly rather than assuming every integration behaves identically.
- The platform covers a lot of territory. Sales, marketing, retention, communication, reputation, analytics, automation, and AI can create a large implementation scope. Agencies should prioritize the workflows that matter most.
- AI recommendations still require agency judgment. A prioritized opportunity or suggested next action can help employees focus, but producers still need to determine whether the recommendation makes sense for the client.
Summary
An AMS is very good at recording what an agency has.
It may be less effective at making sure someone acts on what that information represents.
A policy approaching renewal, an account with a cross-sell opportunity, an unclosed quote, a client who hasn't responded, or a producer who hasn't followed up all represent potential actions. When those actions depend on individual memory, spreadsheets, or separate calendars, opportunities can disappear inside an otherwise well-maintained book of business.
InsuredMine is designed to create an action layer around the AMS. It combines CRM, sales pipelines, client engagement, automation, analytics, and increasingly AI-assisted prioritization so agencies can turn policy and relationship data into defined work.
What stood out during our review is the direction InsuredMine is taking with that action layer. The platform isn't only giving producers another place to view information. Newer capabilities are designed to identify what deserves attention and help initiate the next step.
Key Features:
- Insurance-specific CRM and sales pipelines
- Opportunity and goal management
- Renewal and retention workflows
- Email and text automation
- Client campaigns, forms, eSignature, reviews, and NPS
- Two-way AMS synchronization
- Book-of-business analytics and dashboards
- AI-assisted opportunity prioritization and voice engagement
Best fit for:
- Agencies with a solid AMS but weak or inconsistent sales and follow-up processes
- Growing agencies wanting more structure around producer pipelines, opportunities, goals, and accountability
- Agencies wanting to systematically pursue cross-sell, renewal, retention, and win-back opportunities in the existing book
- Organizations using multiple manual processes for email, texting, forms, reviews, campaigns, and client follow-up
- Agency leaders wanting better visibility into whether sales and engagement processes are actually being executed
May not be ideal for:
- Agencies unwilling to establish and enforce consistent CRM processes across producers and service teams
- Organizations already getting strong CRM, marketing, retention, and automation functionality from another integrated platform
- Very small agencies whose sales and renewal activity can still be managed effectively through their existing AMS
- Teams looking for AI to replace producer judgment rather than prioritize and support employee action
Deeper Dive
The Problem Being Solved: Most agencies already have substantial information about their clients.
The problem is consistently acting on it.
A producer may have open quotes that need follow-up. An existing client may have a cross-sell opportunity. A renewal needs attention. A lost customer should enter a win-back campaign. Another client may be ready for a review request or referral conversation.
Without a structured CRM and automation process, those actions often depend on individual employee habits.
InsuredMine gives agencies a way to define that process.
Opportunities can move through pipelines with stages, ownership, tasks, and automations. Entering a stage can trigger communication, create employee work, send an intake form, or initiate another defined action.
Renewals can similarly be placed into pipelines based on policy expiration information.
That changes CRM from simply recording producer activity into a system for determining and coordinating what should happen next.
Why It Matters to Agencies: Independent agencies spend a significant amount of money generating new business while already possessing a large source of potential growth: their existing book.
The challenge is identifying and consistently pursuing those opportunities.
AMS data can tell the agency which policies a client has. A CRM can help turn that information into a cross-sell process.
The AMS knows when a policy expires. A renewal pipeline can make sure someone owns the work before that date.
The agency knows which prospects haven't closed. Automation can maintain communication without requiring a producer to remember every follow-up individually.
We see that as the core business case for InsuredMine.
The platform can also create greater management visibility. Pipelines, dashboards, tasks, goals, communications, and activity history give leadership a clearer view of whether the agency's sales and retention processes are actually being executed.
That matters because a process isn't really standardized if leadership can't tell whether anyone is following it.
What Stood Out to Us: What stood out during our review is InsuredMine's continued movement from traditional insurance CRM toward what it calls a System of Action.
Book IQ is part of that transition. It is designed to use CRM and policy information to identify opportunities and renewal risks within the existing book.
Priority Cards take the idea another step by surfacing recommended next actions for producers rather than expecting employees to independently search through reports and determine where to focus.
AI Voice Agents extend automation into phone-based outreach and follow-up.
InsuredMine has also added connectors that allow agency data to be accessed through external AI environments. That direction is interesting because it gives agencies more flexibility in how employees interact with CRM information rather than requiring every AI experience to occur inside one application.
We wouldn't make AI the primary reason to evaluate InsuredMine, however.
The underlying value proposition remains stronger and more practical: connect AMS information with sales, service, marketing, and retention processes, then make sure those processes consistently result in action.
For us, that's InsuredMine's differentiation: it is trying to close the gap between what the agency knows about its book and what employees actually do with that information.
Final Thoughts
We came away seeing InsuredMine's strongest value in the connection between agency data and agency behavior. Most organizations don't need more information simply for the sake of having another dashboard. They need existing information to result in consistent follow-up, sales activity, retention work, and client engagement.
We also like the direction of the newer intelligence capabilities when viewed through that lens. Book IQ, Priority Cards, and AI Voice become useful when they help the agency identify an opportunity and move it toward action—not simply because AI has been added to the platform.
For an agency principal or sales leader, InsuredMine is worth further evaluation if leadership believes meaningful revenue and retention opportunities are being lost inside the existing book because follow-up depends too heavily on individual employee habits. We would choose three workflows—new-business follow-up, renewal retention, and cross-sell are good candidates—and map how consistently they happen today. If InsuredMine can turn those workflows into visible, measurable, repeatable action while keeping the AMS and CRM appropriately synchronized, that's where we see the strongest business case.
