Catalyit, the trusted technology advisor for independent insurance agencies, has named Jason Furst Chief Executive Officer, effective August 1, 2026.
Furst previously served as Catalyit’s Chief Operating Officer, where he helped shape the organization’s strategy, strengthen operations, and expand its reach across the independent insurance channel. He played a central role in developing and growing key initiatives, including the Agency Tech Assessment, Agency Compensation 360, and GetLYIT.
“Jason is the right leader at the right time for Catalyit,” said Marit Peters, Catalyit’s managing partner and former CEO. “He understands the challenges independent agencies face, values the strength of our association and industry partnerships, and knows how to turn strategy into results. We are confident in his ability to lead Catalyit into its next chapter.”
As CEO, Furst will focus on strengthening Catalyit’s position as the independent insurance channel’s most trusted technology advisor. His priorities include expanding the organization’s consulting capabilities, helping agencies make smarter decisions about AI and technology, deepening state association partnerships, and giving agency leaders the clarity and confidence to turn strategy into action.

Furst brings experience in organizational leadership, operations, marketing, brand development, and content strategy. Throughout his career, he has helped organizations sharpen their message, strengthen their operations, and turn ambitious ideas into focused action.
Furst lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, with his family. Outside of work, he enjoys hockey, camping, and fly fishing.
