Is your platform available through state associations or other endorsement programs?
Vertafore works with a variety of state associations, agency aggregators and clusters to provide a variety of customized solutions. There is a dedicated team at Vertafore specifically focused on this segment of the independent agency channel.

How can clients access technical support?
Technical support is available directly through My Vertafore, a tool accessible for all Vertafore customers to submit tickets. Customers can also call the support area in Vertafore at 800-888-8147.

PL Rating currently connects to over 300 carriers in all states except AK & HI. The carrier inventory is a dynamic process where additional carriers are released into production year over year. Our Carrier Inventory Interactive Map allows for you to view which carriers are available in each selected state.

Are quotes provided to consumers an indication or a bindable quote?
Because the nature of consumer quoting limits the question set compared to an agency-facing tool, the quotes within CRQ have always been referenced as indications and not bindable. Since all the data that a consumer enters into CRQ is imported into PL Rating, it is only a few additional steps to complete a bindable quote within our tools.

Can the agent email a proposal from within the system to their client?
Yes. PL Rating’s built-in functionality allows the agent to seamlessly email and/or print quote proposals to/for their client. With our Consumer Rate Quotes application, proposals are emailed instantaneously to customers as well as to members of the agency for fast and comprehensive follow up.

Do you provide a coverage comparison between companies?
Yes. PL Rating provides a breakdown of each carrier’s rates based on the limits, deductibles, and optional coverages each carrier has to offer. This breakdown can be found within PL Rating’s intuitive user interface. 

Do you allow real time consumer facing quoting?
Yes. Consumer Rate Quotes (CRQ) is a powerful add-on component of PL Rating that allows agents to provide multiple carrier quoting directly to consumers on the agency’s website/social media profiles. An agency can implement CRQ and be up and running in minutes, customizing their CRQ with the agency’s logo, coverage options, and email notifications. CRQ works in any browser on mobile phones and tablets, including iOS and Android. CRQ also seamlessly integrates with your PL Rating client database, transferring all data entered by prospects into your portal directly.  For those agencies that want to create their own consumer quoting experience, our API connections are available for those agencies that want to develop and provide a unique quoting and sales experience.
